As far as question No. 1, yes, I think so, because there's not as much to the North and Northeast of PSU. On the other hand, Penn State is located right smack dab in the middle of PA, which is a great football state. So within the 6-hour radius, I'd say VT has the advantage. But as far as the local radius (about 3 hours), PSU has the advantage.
