NIL funding comes through funding from boosters and from businesses interested in using athletes in events and advertising. Clearly bigger cities will have more money than more remote schools. But how active the donor base is important. Take Texas A&M. More remote then the university of Texas in Austin, but the Aggies are all in. But nobody knows the full data because NIL cooperatives aren’t publishing the spending
