Lawal 5th year?
Wait, so now that NCAA has adopted 5 in 5, will Lawal be back? He's obviously got an amazing athleticism, but he could use another year of fine tuning penetrating from mid-range and working on his hands. Surely, an NBA team might want to grab him and develop him, but he did have significant mid-season injury/ies, so maybe he would want to work on strengthening and development at VT (if we could afford him)... He seemed to be very loyal to VT and JD Byers, regardless of pay (from an interview last season if I recall).

As its currently written...
Theyre not grandfathering in anyone who ran out of eligibility under the old rules. That will certainly open the NCAA up to more lawsuits, but no there is no direct path to Lawal or anyone in his class getting the 5 in 5

any lawsuit challenges will probably take too long to reach decision anyway

Didn't Tobi perform well in the PIT?

He did not make the all-PIT team.

Much like other lawsuits...
They could be given a temporary restraining order and force a decision, but play during the TRO like Alabama this past season
