Since Neo has size advantage every game, could he be used in high post more
Especially when Hansberry needs a break or gets in foul trouble. With his passing skills, teams would be reluctant to double him, thus allowing him to use his basketball skills to his advantage. He’s shown he can finish at the rim going one on one from 15 feet in.
I’m not saying change the whole offense, but the offense seems to struggle without Hansberry on the floor.

is ready for the NBA. At this level, he needs to focus on using his height mis-match more effectively offensively (dribble drives, or posting up smaller guards) and improve his defense. If college teams figure out how to effectively slow him down, imagine how it would be in the pros? He is a unique basketball athlete no doubt, but he is still learning. The one thing he needs to get better at is resiliency when things aren't going his way. I would love to see him stay another year and refine his game, but I may be looking through O&M glasses. The absolute truth is that no one is calling me up and asking my opinion, which leads me to believe no one is certain I have the ability to scout and evaluate talent. Truth hurts sometimes. Nevertheless, GO Neo, and GO HOKIES!

his # 1 focus is to show off skills that will translate to the NBA. He could try and back down small guards and play with back to the basketball more but that's not what he is here for.
it's not a rant against him or a slight towards him cause the staff knew the conditions of his arrival and he is such a talent to have on the floor
the best hope to become a really good team is he learns to mesh his assist abilities into the lineup / roster. If all fairness we have only played 6-8 games with all the pieces at once? 1/4 of the time he is on the court with Hammond is on the bench. That being said we are about to hit a stretch of two games a week that will help them mess in my belief. Getting Tobi back might be his secret combo for the pick and roll he likes.

Neo is obviously a more skilled player (if less physical) than Mutts, but similar size and sees the floor well. I think that would benefit the team more than trying to make a PG out of him, which he clearly is not.

It will be malpractice. Sorry but we are giving him money and a free education, so this arrangement has to have occasional balance of doing what puts the team in the best position to win. We've done good by him. Im not sure the blocks is where I want to see him but he would be lethal with the ball near the foul line extended with his ability to shoot drive or dish to our low post guys.

. . . wonder what he's going to do at the next level. He absolutely has to shoot better in spot situations as he's not beating anyone off the dribble.
