Former VT recruit, Gregg Glenn has died...
He went to Michigan and then transferred to Tulane, was a 4-star recruit. Tulane just said he died from an accident.

one 25 years ago or so at the Outer Banks. I am reasonably good swimmer and have swam in the Ocean at the OBX since I was child. It took me a good 5 to 7 minutes to figure out that I was not going to be able to swim back in. I was able to process the issue and swam parallel for a few minutes and got back to shore. I was exhausted from that. If you are on shore you need to watch your group in the water. Rippers require diagnosis and finesse. There is no powering through as we see again and again. Nature is beautiful and relentless.

I've been caught in a couple, and thankfully I knew what to do.
They are definitely no joke! You need to recognize it, and take immediate action.
