a recent portal commit, guard Duke Miles, decommit. I don't think he ever set foot in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Of course, last year FSU's Jalen Warley committed to UVa out of the portal, showed up, then, after Tony Bennett resigned. decommitted, before stepping on the court...

The "analytics" folks on coaching staffs? With all the churn with portal comings-and-goings, skill with a supercomputer might not be enough; quantum computing might be needed before a school puts five players on the court for the tip-off of the season's first game.

least when it pertains to sports. Winning is great...but this revolving door of mercenaries is getting out of control.

you break a contract you pay for it, both ways - players to colleges, and coaches to colleges and vice-versa.
These are professionals now, so schools better start treating them as such
