Louisville is the only model to look at. From the absolute outhouse to the
penthouse in one season. Money plus a competent coach and they added 20 wins to their total in one season(and they’re not done yet). I happen to believe that we have a competent coach. So give him the money to buy a roster and let’s roll.

U know how much Annual giving their 🏀 program gets?
Before Covid it was $30 million annual gifts same as UK.
They r far from being a model for VT

we have a good coach. Give him enough money to attract better players than we have. We don’t have to win 20 more games next year. Six to eight more could possibly put us in the NCAA discussion.

resources than the previous year, it remains to be seen how competitive the new number will be relative to the competition. CMY played it pretty close to the vest early on about resources and how the calls were made for this year but, it is my opinion those decisions need to be reevaluated and those responsible held firmly accountable for any mistakes made.

at their current levels. It will just be nice if CMY can at least be in the game for more talented portal players. Will that happen? He said in his post game presser that it is going to happen, so we just wait and watch the action I suppose.

Yeah, a credible argument could be made for doing the same thing here, except as you say we don’t need to replace the coach, and I would kind of like to hang on to Lawal. We could certainly make a case for replacing all of our guards and buying that group up to high major standard.

Come here? Their program is much better than ours. Their top 7-8 would start for us. but I expect their coach to be at NCS or UVA next year which could ……
No meaningful help until our NIL gets competitive.

Louisville spent over $20M this year across football and basketball, keep in mind this is before rev sharing so expect that number to double.

6 or 7? Better players, with a competent coach equals more wins.
