I really like Collins as a player. Got a feeling that
by year 3 he is going to be one of the best players in the ACC. Just something about him.

He's a baller.

He plays a lot like a 1st to Carolina Fr Michael Jordan to me. I know I’m
Gonna be called crazy because I would call myself crazy as well if I wasn’t me, lol. Has a silky smooth shot off high elevation. If he takes 1000 shots a day in the offseason after this year he could come back a devasting shot, high flyer, similar but of course not quite there to MJ

Growth is interesting. Most Thought Maddox to be superman after last year.

Was literally about to say the same thing.
Would slow down on the hype train just a bit - impossible to tell how players go year to year. I said it about Maddox in the off-season, it’s an entirely different mindset to just fill a role vs being “the dude”. Not to mention how teams guard, scheme etc. Collins is filling the role of hitting an open three and the occasional drive. Adds more defensively and rebounding. It’s the same thing I feel about Ryan Dunn this year. He’s not being asked to do too much, a lot can change when expectations change. But it is very very clear, he is a doing a great job and has tons of potential.

He really hustles and can really jump.
His shooting and ball handling needs to improve. I guess those will come around in time.

He always seems to be in the area for rebounds, which is a good thing.

Agree. He seems to have a knack for where the ball is going.
And he seems to be a pretty strong guy too.

Every year is different and players mature at different rates. Remember
we thought Darius would be tearing it up this year too. Hopefully he can get things together.

Needs to be more consistent with his shot and improve his handle
But he certainly has the athleticism and the length to do well.
