If Mike Young were the coach when Beran were making his original decision..

He would have been a Hokie from the jump Both he and Bamisile were not fond of ol' Buzzard Williams...both committed to Northwestern (I'll pause for the jokes about Bamisile jumping around) Bamisile flipped to VT when MY was hired due to connections with his HS coach, Beran stuck with Northwestern. I think his career is a bit different if he had chosen VT, as I don't think VT would have gone after DNG and some continuity from someone who could swing 4 and 5 would have been immensely helpful. (Just as it will be should he choose VT)
