Social media's intended outreach...

Skews much farther towards people under 40 than people over it. And those are the people most likely to use slang and abbreviations in daily communication. Not to mention, the intended audience of posting that Grant Basile's family was able to watch his 33 point performance in person is recruits. So 15-18 year olds. You are not the intended audience, so you'll have to excuse their style of communication
