…and I’m not even sure losing a bad one hurts that much. I think it’s logistics (or laziness?) on the part of the selection committee that they don’t give much weight to tournaments. Sure, it’s late and tough to reshuffle. The the bulk of a resume is already complete. But how a team plays in a conference tournament seems useful in determining how a team might play in the NCAA tournament in my mind.
