You must have forgotten that we were out of the NCAAT last year until...

...we won the ACCT. If we had lost any of those games including the final, we were NIT bound. The tournament selection committee doesn't consider any tournament wins except for the tournament champion.

8-3 down the stretch and 2 ACCT wins get us a bid?

conference tournament results don't factor into NCAA selections

Yes. And because of who we play, probably easily. 20-11; 10-10
hokieZ71 01/24/23 10:31 AM ET
Yes. Edit: Things to prohibit Tech getting in

The ACCT doesn’t matter unless you win it or lose a bad one first game
st_andrew 01/24/23 09:26 AM ET
Depends on what everybody else does and Q1 wins.

And regarding Q1 wins...
Chris ColemanAdmin 01/24/23 09:23 AM ET

I didn’t forgot but I think our out of conference resume is better**
HwoodHokie 01/24/23 08:47 AM ET
Nope, ACCT wins don’t matter
soflahokie 01/24/23 08:14 AM ET
Don't speculate
Arch72Hokie 01/24/23 09:23 AM ET
My point on ACCT was more about avoiding an early loss
HwoodHokie 01/24/23 08:45 AM ET
Absolutely**
