The refs let the physical play go, that will happen again. As for the coaches, for your take to be correct, a couple of things would have to happen, 1) The coaches would have to have not taught how to recognize and counter switches and pick/roll defense. 2) as soon as the coaches who didn't really teach it in practice point it out the players become like Popeye eating spinach and instantly transform to a level higher than they would have attained with proper preparation. So are you suggesting basics aren't being coached? Are you suggesting coaching the players to read and adjust on court to what the opposition is doing isn't being coached? Coaches who are like that are nowhere near as good as CMY is. IMHO this was all about players not being mentally and emotionally prepared for what BC brought before the clock started. That is on them.
