Both the loss and the injury were self-inflicted. Did the officiating suck? It did. Did Hunter put himself in a dangerous position? He did. Could we have overcome the poor officiating? We could've, BUT we didn't. We let them run the same pick and roll the entire second half with no adjustments! Who's that on? Not the refs. Had the ball for the last possession and didn't get a good look. Who's that on? The refs? Nope, Pedulla and CMY. Who's the loss on? Everyone who stepped on the court including CMY. Good teams overcome adversity and win games like that. Not saying we aren't a good team. Just saying that the loss is on our players and coaches, not the refs. We have to be better than that. We got hosed all game versus OKSU and overcame it. In Chestnut Hill, we came out flat, gor punched in the mouth, and cried for calls instead of stepping up and playing better ball than them. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just making excuses for a piss poor performance. Hope we play better at Wake.
