I understand the sentiment...

But it doesn't really work like that. Last years team had strengths and weaknesses that this team doesn't and vice versa. I'm not sure I'm ready to characterize Kidd and Rice as better than DNG, Maddox and Pedulla from last year's bench. I certainly would say Kidd, Camden and Collins have been a step down. Rice hasn't played a single minute yet. Camden has to find his footing defensively to keep from being a situational player. Collins is all but destined for that role. The teams are similar, not equal, but also not something you can point to and say "overall, this team is better"
