I actually think he could surprise a lot of people for a couple reason

Let's look at his situation: 1. He came in completely unheralded but got into Rice so he's clearly intelligent 2. Rice runs a 4 guard system and only plays 1 big at a time 3. Max Fiedler is an excellent big man who finished 20th in ppg, 2nd in rpg, and 8th in apg in CUSA for 2020-2021 which is better than Mutts was in the CAA All that said, Poteat managed to increase his production by 80% on a 30% increase in minutes last year.
