I understand that it is the opener vs Delaware St BUT..

I think there was a lot to like and feel good about in this game. Chemistry seems to be the biggest issue to me, which is to be expected given the amount of newcomers, but that can easily change as they get reps together. Lawal looks good. If he can continue to be a threat from 3 that teams need to close out on I think we will see a lot more dunks like that one in the second half. Also allows you to play him and Poteat at the same time, which I thought was surprising to start the game, but just shows Mike Young's confidence in Lawal to be a threat outside. Having the both of them on the floor at the same time does wonders for rim protection and interior defense, which we clearly see with two blocks apiece.

PG looks to be the most concerning area to me, especially defensively.

Lawal also hit a 3 in the second scrimmage.

He hit at least one in the first game as well. Can tell he has a great work

Have to think that Mike played a huge part in that improvement.
