Transfer Portal

There are many teams that have at least 3 transfer portal outgoing players up to 7 so apparently this is not just a VT virus but one that is expanding in many places. I did not check them all but it became obvious that this is college basketball today. I think also that the reasons vary from NIL money to playing time. Before this season VT experienced several transfers but I cannot think of one player that made his situation better. You can go all the way back to Landers Nolley and he is in the G league. I think his development would have been elevated if he stayed. ** Edited by Jomonelson at 4/1/2024, 4:25:37 PM

A fact that a lot of players learn once they hit the portal.**

We do look like an outlier in the sense that we only have 1 rotation player

I would say that Blackshear and Jalen Hudson (preNIL) did. Others, eh.**
