That to me is what it will take. Brooks leaving and the players entering the portal is all about money. VT needs a lot of NIL & salary money if we are going to be competitive in MBB and WBB. Heck, just about say that for any sport in which we want to be competitive. At first, NIL didn't seem to be a catalyst for player movement but now it is definitely a primary catalyst and we don't seem prepared for it. The gap between the mega-haves and the not-so-mega-haves is growing at breakneck speed and we are in the latter category - for now anyway.
