Lynn Kidd - time to grow up. He has to be the guy at the 5 spot. If he can be efficient enough to force double teams it makes everyone else that much more dangerous. I think teams will leave him alone at first until he proves it, so the non-conference schedule can be huge for Lynn to make a statement. Also needs to get MILES better on ball screen defense; VT cannot afford to sub him out situationally to end games all season. Mekhi Long - first and foremost he needs to knock down open looks like Collins. If he doesn't. Then it puts a LOT of pressure on his ability to defend and rebound. He essentially becomes David N'Guessan which is not something you want from a 5th year player. He can provide a lot of versatility, but it starts with being a threat offensively.
