Beran is also very good defensively

And adds a career 36% 3 point shooting...so there's not a single chance Ryan Dunn is both so good defensively that he outweighs any positive fron Beran AND somehow managed only 12 min per game this season... You can be excited about Dunn, he's going to be very good. He isn't there. And likely won't quite be there this season. If VT rolls into a matchup with UVA with Beran and Long and takes on Ryan Dunn, I'm liking VTs chances. What you're suggesting is either: 1) Bennett would bring in someone better than Dunn, but wouldn't play him over him because "development" OR 2) that Tony Bennett truly feels Ryan Dunn is a better player right now than Robbie Beran and is recruiting two players who were starters at their previous schools and hoping they'll accept a reserve role TB isn't dumb...
