I don't think I can get past this idea that Maddox, as a junior, still has

so much to prove while also relying on Rice as a freshman, who has never played a college game, to make everyone around him better. Maddox can actually improve on his game. And there's at least some chance that he won't. But if after two seasons and going from 35 minutes to 600, he doesn't have the ability to - then what does Alleyne have? He's got 90 games and hasn't improved statistically since his freshman year. Lastly, who are the coaches that trade one season of Alleyne for potentially two seasons of Maddox? Ex-coaches. Best wishes to Alleyne, but it was Alleyne or Maddox and I think we've got the better player returning.
