I think his 21/22 performance shows production, not just "ton of potential"

Rebounding: 2nd best guard. Rebounds per 40 minutes: Cattoor 4.8, Maddox 4.5, Alleyne 3.6, Pedulla 3.6, Murphy 2.9. FG%: best guard, 3rd highest on team (behind Aluma and Mutts) 3FG%: best on team Minutes Played: 6th highest on team (17 mpg). Averaged 24 mpg in 5 tournament games. Defense: Harder to measure statistically. To my eye, his defense was comparable to Alleyne by year-end. May not be defensively disruptive, but is also not a defensive liability. Assists: Worst guard in assists per 40 minutes (Murphy 4.3, Pedulla 4.0, Cattoor 2.5, Alleyne 1.9, Maddox 1.2). This supports your point that he does not facilitate offense. Also, he was starting to show a mid-range and dribble drive game late in the season. More than just catch and shoot.
