If he wants to keep his job, he needs to do it privately and I’m sure he is

but Men’s basketball is a break even sport at Virginia Tech and just about every other school. Ironically, if we start to win more in football, that’s when there will be more money for basketball. The ROI just isn’t there with the NCAA taking 85% of the NCAA Basketball tournament money and distributing across all NCAA sports.
