Even if there were an alternative reason...

Nothing is gained from saying that reason. Fans are not entitled to personal matters/decisions/deaths/illnesses/whims of players families. You surely can't believe the best route is to say "well Darius is taking some time away from VT to decide if he wants to be here or not" There's zero indication that's the case, but what "real reason" can you possibly think of that's needs to be leaked by MY first?
