Given the schedule is already released and most students haven't made their

Spring Break plans yet, why make that assumption? If you took a look at UVA's academic calendar, then you will see the game is scheduled when students are coming back from Spring Break. It isn't unreasonable to think enough students will decide to return to campus on that Saturday. Even wahoo2023's post notes it isn't an uncommon behavior for UVA students.
