I think his preseason comments have been very telling

He has specifically said that he loves coaching and working with the kids and developing them. He knows what kind of situation he is in and the money limitations. And he accepts it because he really does love it and he does love being at VT. CMY enables us to compete above our weight class. But we won't win consistently as much as fans want because of the spending choices by the administration.
