I think it's as simple as Cal had his own people he wanted in the spot...

Happens all the time in a transition. Does not mean he isn't "better" than whoever Calipari put in the spot, just that Calipari is more familiar with him or provides a relationship that this guy doesn't. There are a million reasons why people move and change jobs and I've yet to find one that had nefarious reasons like "not wanting to cheat" He wouldn't really be in charge of nor an implementer of any significant cheating...especially never having been with Calipari before. Also...Eric Musselman is a big ol cheater himself, so I don't think he all of a sudden grew a conscience
