I didn’t realize that there was only one right way to play basketball. I am not convinced you would be up to learning anything yourself since you are convinced your way is the only way. I loved what I saw from Basile last night because he had a hot hand from 3 point land. I had not seen him shoot that well before. However, he also showed some effective moves inside. In other words he can do both and if he isn’t hot from the outside, he can spend more time inside and be effective as an inside player. This is what I was getting at. You go to what is working and last night, it was Basile at the three point line. I like a balanced inside/outside game. You like something else. I am not going to tell you you are wrong. There are many ways to operate all sports successfully. That’s why we have so many successful coaches with very different approaches. We are both entitled to our opinions, that is what you need to learn. I trust Mike Young completely and really enjoy what he is doing with our team. To be honest, I admit I was a big Aluma fan, and was hoping Basile would replace his game. Obviously, Basile is better from 3 point land, but we will need him inside against the tougher competition to come. Anyway, healthy debate is what makes these boards interesting, I think you might consider that others opinions are valid as well as yours.
