I have not seen every game, but Basile wasn’t shooting all that well from the 3 pt. line. Missing badly often (I know his stats say different, but I can only go on what I have seen). He doesn’t need to. We have several 3 point options. I would rather see a Center be a force inside. That isn’t antiquated. Bacot doesn’t hang out by the three point line all day. Aluma took shots from there as well, but didn’t spend all day out there. I trust Mike Young, so we will see how this evolves as the competition picks up. My bet is we will need Basile to compete in the paint more to be successful.
