it safe to say football and basketball have trendy down over the last five years. When it's one sport your can say it's coaching but when it's both revenue sports you can look at the administration above. As for my comment on basketball, I think it's border line insane to think VT will magically be a good team next year. They same group of people that shorted basketball will overcome the deffency next year? That same group will be gone if the football team starts 0-2. I doubt basketball is their number 1 priority. Whit has missamanged so many budget and operational decisions over his tenure i've lost faith. He has made good hires, give him that.
