That issue alone is why I think the P2 could end up doing its own thing and

not have to worry about any of the political fallout that could come with the decision. Right now the P2 may be the only schools who could afford to treat all their athletes as employees. For the schools, who know they can't afford it, then there would be no incentive for them to want to be apart of the P2 Group assuming employment is a requirement. Likewise, there will be school leaders and politicians who will believe that schools shouldn't be in the business of classifying their athletes as employees. That group of people should have no reason to want to see their schools be apart of the P2 Group assuming employment is a requirement.
