Correct. It's fine if we're going to be an "NCAA or Bust" MBB program.

We'd all obviously welcome it! But you can't just say that kind of thing and have it mean something. What's the actual plan to make that real? Otherwise it's just performative excuse making for not being willing to play in the NIT which, let's face it, is the tournament this roster was lab-designed to qualify for.

It was 25 teams in 73 then it moved to 32 a couple years later.

Yes. NCAA 25 Teams, NIT 16 Teams in 1972-1973 Season. Combined, 41 Teams.
