To be fair to those players...

They shouldn't be expecting their PG to pick the ball up in weird situations. They have a role to perform as well, and if they're constantly entering panic mode whenever the PG hesitates for half a second then the whole offense will come to a halt Now, can they do a better job initially of getting open on some actions? Yes, absolutely. But that's almost always the case, and they're currently getting open enough that it is a reasonable expectation you should be able to get them the ball
