If I remember correctly his father was in the Hospital

Maddox wanted to move closer to home and he was having some confidence issues on the court and some shooting woes. I just don’t think he was in a good mental state at tech, and he needed to change up the scenery. He did not play in the final three months of the season, and it was reported to be a personal issue. No reason for him to choose not to play and waste eligibility even if it were a positional issue.
