It honestly is not a good look.

It makes sense though, until something changes VT is always going to make the top 3, but get beat out by $$ programs. That has to be one of the biggest factors. Mike clearly knows how to pitch his system and explain how recruits will fit, but I think tech just lacks that final piece of “we actually care about our basketball facilities, arena, and nil”. The Uber athletic top 50 players are also likely discouraged as CMY has not had any players go to the nba, yet. I know that JD Byers helped recruit Bones Hyland to VCU , but that’s about it on that front as I know.
