Also Cassell was built in another time... and much work needs to be done, and also different business case now. THis is entertainment. To do what was proposed a coujple of years ago it requires over 100 milliion JUST for renotation, and there are more projects with critieal Return of investment (ie. Football related improvements which can generate the revenue and return faster. Also VT borrowing athority a little pressed; they just approved hundred of million dollar dormitory upgrade program (not funded by state), and that will be borrowed. So as finance guy, you have to be really careful and smart on huge projects. If football gets natoinal again, then the extra revenue an come in, resulting in more revenue to the secondary sports. This is Brutal college athletics in 2026
