They have good players but not always the best. Cave Spring and....

......William Fleming regularly play them tough. Cave has won the state championship recently and Fleming has regularly won or shared the district title with Northside. Fleming and Cave were down this year so the scores are a bit skewed this season. My boys went to Northside and my oldest played basketball there and I have seen some struggling years for Northside basketball. The demographics of the area has change over the years and you several people that are moving to the county from the city. I'm sure recent success has drawn more people to want to play for Coach Pope. Nothing shady like you are suggesting.
