This is another problem with NIL: the complete lack of transparency.

As it's currently set up, NIL is basically arranged to encourage fraudulent activity. We (the public/alums/interested fans, etc) have no way of knowing exactly who's paying which player, how much, and for how long. None of the deals are public. For all we know, the Mafia (via some bogus NIL shell organization or via some shady character front man) is paying one of our players to turn the ball over X number of times per game and commit X number of fouls. Not saying that's happening, but as it stands now, there's no way to know that it's NOT happening.
