Between that, the ADA seats, student seating, AthDept/HC set asides, etc, a lot of the seats are taken (red dots) during re-seating. The attitude of the VTTO/AthDept has been that once the seats are sold, there is nothing they can do. @VTScoop really didn't talk about these corporate seats. Many years ago, I wrote a series of screeds about this, but they didn't care, and most on here didn't either. I probably still have them saved somewhere. For years, there were four seats in front of my wife and I that were only used for the UNC, Duke, UVA and UofL games. And, on those occasions, they were filled by visiting team fans. We asked the UVA fans whose tickets they were, and they said Nike. Regular attendees know about these seats, just because they're usually empty (almost always for OOC, and usually for ACC games).
