You are so right. Ok, here’s my plan
Figure out how much it cost for you to attend Tech (and hopefully graduate). Multiply that by 12. Pledge to give that back to tech and they will offer you a lifetime benefit (verbally). Fulfill your pledge. If everyone did that, you wouldn’t need billionaires to throw their money into a cause that doesn’t interest them (I know Willie was just joking).
Of course a new AD comes in and yanks the lifetime benefit but so what. No one cares. It’s all about money. Of course when money comes into play, you can believe that greed isn’t far behind. I came up with a plan. I fulfilled my part of the pledge. Now please come up with a plan to stop this vicious cycle. I wish things were different but it never will be the same.
