Death by 1000 paper cuts
You are right about having a ton of rich alumni but we have a ton who love sports. I know not everyone can donate but MOST people can donate $50 a month. With (as of 2015) 240,000 living alumni if 150,000 donate $50 a month we would bring in 90mil a year.
I know it won't happen but I will bring it up every time someone says we need rich alumni. Maybe we don't but there are a lot of us who do not want us to fade away into the soon forgotten ACC or BIG 12.
