recruiting is much different then the old days

no matter what folks think about connections or not, the recruiting network for power five is ALL about relationshiip connections. Average fan retired or youngster, have no idea the relationship part of the recruiting business. They get in with little league, aau teams, right when they start playing. They see their parents cousin or folks advising the kid, and target when to get a word, or a wink that school x is interested, then find out where uncle bob eats at hardees, and recruiter goes to the hardees and happens to bump into uncle bob and starts the conversation. Or engage in 7-7 tourneys, hang around, spike up conversation. And then you nature it 4-5 years, and maybe the kid likes you and your program and commits and signed. Its all about Relationships
