I remember Carolina beat Duke

Down by ( i think) 8 with about 30 seconds left. No 3 pt line. Edit: Did a little research. March 2, 1974. Duke led by 8 with 17 seconds left and lost without the 3 point shot. Something I don't think we could even do.
