“If any one of us gets a DWI and our work finds out we would either face losing our job or being suspended.” Unless the individual is a high profile public figure for their employer and it doesn’t impact the ability to perform their job, it’s not up to the employer to punish them. I have seen numerous individuals in the past 40+ yrs get into trouble outside of the workplace and it didn’t carry over to impact their job. Woodson is a high profile public figure who represents the face of his “employer”. Thus, the “employer” should be able to act accordingly to attempt to salvage their representation.
