I wouldn't extrapolate from that...

He wasn't getting paid at any of those places and saw an increase in playing time with each move. Lawal will be leaving after next year and Hansberry would slot into the 4 spot. So if he leaves after one year it'll be because Gurdak passed him, which is a good thing not a bad one. He went from a Developmental role in the top German league to a significant role in the 2nd division. That's a pretty standard move.
