Yes, it matters

I, along with a lot of fans, enjoy winning more than losing. I'm sure the team does as well. Win more and keep more support and probably lose fewer players through the portal...and maintain some level of allure to HS recruits. But, yeah, if your only concern is postseason play, 4 ACC wins vs. 8 isn't going to matter.
