CMY is trying to compete while be totally handcuffed with the lack of NIL money. Had he had the 4 starters who left this past year on this year's roster and been able to add a few players to complement them through the portal then this year would be totally different. As it turned out, he had to scramble to get players to fill the roster and his best portal guy wasn't on the team a week before the season started. There is no way that you, or anyone else, can accurately say he is "not suited for this era of college athletics." All that CMY has ever known is basketball and we are lucky to have him.
