Inconsistent fundamentals

He doesn't have a repeatable, consistent shot motion. Cattoor does. Pedulla does. That doesn't mean that those two can't have bad shooting games. Those are the result of a flawed set up (bad pass or initial misalignment). Their shot motion, however, is virtually the same on every deep take. Collins deep shot is predictable only in its individual uniqueness. If he has unfettered time, he does tend to lock in to a repeatable groove, susceptible to the same variances that Cattoor and Pedulla face. But in the reality of game competition, he doesn't get those opportunities often. He's either highly contested or WIDE open (too open with a naked basket). Each shot is, essentially, a new creation. I agree with what CC wrote about Green. I've never seen a player make the kind of scoring leap as he did between his freshman and junior years. I think that Collins has a huge upside.

Question for CC: Collins often seems to have a good scoring game

I wish he would drive the lane and shoot mid-range jumpers more and only

The other team leaves him open on purpose. That's their strategy.

He is shooting 30.2% from 3 in ACC play

Collins is missing only one thing: confidence shooting the 3, and that

He’s already shown a lot of improvement. I like his trajectory.**

Got to be mental. He is money on his foul shots.**

No way to predict how he'll develop.

Right. Posters who say "he just needs more confidence" are guilty of . .

Collins reminds me a ton of Casey Morsell
