Is our less athletic scheme used by other similar schools?

I don't know Xs and Os so pardon my ignorance. But would you say MY's scheme is our best option, especially since the learning curve is steep and we don't exactly have the luxury of a squad of 5-year players? In my opinion, it feels inconsistent. What attributes do you and other coaches like about it? What would you change?
